Thanks Dave: I had seen this but had not thought of adding it. However, yes, this is one of the barriers. Keep them coming!

I'd especially like some references to work showing how Fed Govt fiscal policy (taxes and spending) has promoted unsustainable practices (ie: fossil fuels, etc). And, I suppose promoted sustainable (such as the solar energy credits).

I have some references on how policy has promoted racial inequality; could use more of those, plus promotion of gender inequality (and other kinds of inequality).

That's all backward-looking; also want want forward-looking pieces: how Biden's proposals will help to reverse these trends. 

Need material accessible to undergrads. And given the broad scope of the course, shorter pieces are nice.

Question: I'm teaching a new class that will include study of the Biden plan and the fight in Congress to get it through. Does anyone have recommendations for readings on analysis of his plans and also on how reconciliation can be used to push it through. Of course, we'll be doing this in "real time" so will need to continually adjust and add new readings, so would appreciate it if you send along anything good that you find over the next few months. But I'm doing the tentative syllabus now.
