Gail,

I sympithize with your desire.  The real problem is that we need someone
with a Camcorder and sound equipment who would love to to the job.
Standard home videos would be almost worthless, as the sound quality stinks
(unintellegable) without a wireless mic.  If we have a member with this
equipment and the desire to tape, fine.  But if we have to rent this stuff,
we could be taking about $300-$500  plus you still need someone who has tha
ability to handle the equipment and will work for free.  We have though
about it.  I hope they are considering the possibility out in Santa Cruz.
Of course the othre consern is a presenters desire to maintain the rights
to their presentation.  This might not be a problem for a dedicated Guild
member, but permission would still need to be give, in writing.
