Someone here at the Museum asked me to format and layout a book project for the CT Academy of Sciences, but it is too big for me to handle with all the work I have here. The woman in charge of the project prefers to work with someone in the New Haven area and wants more personal attention than a service bureau would give her, so she's looking around the university for someone. Any CT Guild people interested? The book can be done in Quark or Pagemaker; the disks are in Wordperfect for Windows 6 and seem to be clean, edited and ready to go, but it really is a big project: lots of formatting (italics, quotes, bibliography, etc.) and probably a couple of hundred pages at least. It's a scholarly text on Middle English, I think. I have no idea what their budget is, but they are looking for someone they can rely on to come back to for future books. And, by the way, they need it done right away (of course). E-mail me soon with your contact info so I can pass it along.
