I will wait to see what Apple's Rapsody System software can do and how well it is supported by developers. If that fails, then Apple will be in serious trouble for the long haul. Right now Apple has the fastest single processor graphics desktop machines on the planet (G3s), but that will change every now and then. The studies still suggest it is easier to be more productive with a mac interface, but they just need more bullet proofed system software, and faster networking. Setup is still easier in my opinion.
