Dear Brie, I have a Mac G3 which has both Internet Explorer 4.5 with Outlook Express and Netscape Communicator/Navigator...it's a bit of a long story how it all got here but, since my address book is in Outlook Express and my Digital I.D. (a secured encrypted link to some of my clients, I do some confidential drawings) is on Netscape I flip back and forth almost daily (makes for an unhappy hard drive sometimes due to fragmentation I think so I don't recommend this practice). Overall I find that Explorer is "quirky" on the Mac and after some extensive conversations with the MicroSoft tech folks they know it and don't know the answer other than the fact that it was modeled for a PC platform and modifed for Mac and there in lay the problem. Netscape is not fault free but, for me its quirks so far have been related to my security links rather than the program itself and I find myself using it as a default. However, Explorer has some great features which make it really easy to use. My vote is go with what works for you but, if you do go with Explorer be prepared for limited tech support, don't get me wrong, their service was great, they just plain didn't know the answer but, knew of the problems...eventually the Microsoft guy recommended I download Netscape...too much, hope Bill Gates wasn't listening! I don't know if this helps but, good luck! Oh! Happy Thanksgiving!
