The Great Lakes Chapter would like to announce the date for our next event! It's the reception for the Kenosha Public Museum Guild of Natural Science Illustrators Exhibition, September 24, 1 pm — 4 pm at the Kenosha Public Museum, 5500 1st Avenue, Kenosha, WI 53140, 262-653-4140, Information Hotline: 262-653-4434 Join us for DINNER & FALL MEETING after the reception! Rocio Jaramillo and Nancy Halliday will be doing demos during the reception. If you are interested in doing a demo, please contact Rocio to find out the times still available. Stay for dinner and a meeting to discuss the election of new officers for our chapter, as well as collecting dues. We will meet for dinner at the Boat House Pub Restaurant at 5 pm when the museum closes. Directions to Kenosha Public Museum: Take Interstate 294/94 to Kenosha. Exit Hwy 158 (just North of Dairyland Greyhound Track). Go east on Hwy 158 to Sixth Avenue. (Hwy 158 turns into 52nd Street in the city of Kenosha. It is approximately 11 miles from the Interstate to the lakefront and Sixth Avenue.) Turn right onto Sixth Avenue. Go 2 blocks south to 54th Street. Turn left onto 54th Street and go 5 blocks east to First Avenue. Turn right onto First Avenue. The Museum is on your right and free parking is available in the lot on your left.
