Greetings, GNSI Members & Followers!
Early Summer is here at last! While you get your garden going, sketch in the park or on the beach, or plan your summer travels, take a few moments to check in at the GNSI web site for the latest news and information!
The GNSI 2013 Journal No.2 Spring Issue is now available for download online FREE to members! The problem with a pricing bug has been fixed.
There is still time to register for the GNSI 2013 Annual Conference in Bar Harbor, ME! It's a wonderful place to spend a summer week, and we offer great rates PLUS an inspiring, informative and FUN week!
AUCTION! Don't forget to send or bring your auction items for the conference! The annual auction is an important fundraiser for the GNSI General and Education Funds.
The Small Works deadline has officially passed, but if you would still like to send or bring something, you can do so -- but you will need to frame it yourself. Small Works pieces should be based on your experiences at previous GNSI conferences, and should follow size guidelines. Please consider donating your Small Works art to the auction!

Adobe
Moves Creative Suite to Cloud-Based Service
Adobe's decision to change how they provide their Creative Suite
programs and services impacts creative professionals everywhere.
Artist with little need to stay at the cutting edge are not
pleased about the switch from direct product sales to a
cloud-based subscription service, preferring to retain the option
of purchasing the software outright as has been the case in the
past. Other artist who use many of the packages that Adobe
produces and always looking for improved features may find the new
sheme more attractive. Adobe has descriptions of all the
components here.
There are numerous online commentaries, pro and con, about this changeover. Get the facts about the change and decide for yourself where you stand.
That's it for part one of your June GNSI In The News... more to come soon!
Regards,
Gail Guth
GNSI Communications Director
