I also agree with Britt that "If it is not in the contract, there is no peace of mind." If you're going to sign more than one agreement, be sure that the WFH contract you sign doesn't have any language stating that it is your* sole * agreement. And, perhaps you should include some lawyerly language in the separate agreement you sign saying something like "Notwithstanding the work-for-hire agreement...." to acknowledge that the rights you're asking for are an exception to WFH agreement. --- *Emily S.
