Box joints, comb joints, finger joints, knuckle joints- all the same thing, are like dove tails but only with square angles, so there simpler. I have seen some on 6 board chest where the entire board could be considered to make half of one of these joints. Beyond that I have not found any period examples of this joint. Can anyone out there help?
