Good afternoon,

I am so pleased to share a call for papers for a conference happening in Donegal in January.  The theme of the conference is Transatlantic Connections. Papers are welcome in the areas of history, film studies, surf culture, food culture, and literature.  The literary panel, which I will be moderating, is open to both creative and critical work.  I would like to propose a panel on the theme of Transatlantic Connections in Cather's work.

Some more details on the conference:

Date and Time: Donegal from January 15-18th 2014
Conference Website: http://depts.drew.edu/grad/transatlantic/Conference.html

There will be a final Irish banquet and concert on Friday 17th January, with awards for the best presentations in each of the five disciplines.
