I too was disappointed. First, the site was not working at the scheduled time. Less than 3 hours later I tried again, and the rooms at the Loews became unavailable as I was trying to book one.

This is a great reminder Phil!
I am chiming in to say that while the site had some bobbles when it first went live, it is working smoothly now.  If you tried unsuccessfully to register and reserve a hotel yesterday within the first hour and a half after it opened, I encourage you to give it another go. It's all fixed now.
