Thanks for the responses, I think Calibre is indeed the way to go. I am familiar with Adobe's offerings, but EPUB is more like html and css than page layout, as near as I can tell.
I will make a short report at the end of the project.

Jeff, I believe Adobe products will help you get there. I think Quark does as well. Do some online research and determine which is your main focus and choose accordingly. No reason to do the work twice if you don't have too. Deb

Can anyone recommend professional software for creating EPUBs? I would be setting everything up in HTML first.
Thanks, in advance…

Hodges wrote and article I beloved in the GNSI
Newsletter. Perhaps there is something in archives. A claycoat surface provides a good tooth. It will seem light compared to graphite but will oxidize depending on whether it is set or not. Might do a search online for historical techniques as well. Best, Deb

Hi Linda,

My only tip is silver jewelry wire and a mechanical pencil, it won't feel like graphite but she'll have a good grip.

All best,

Hi All;
I have a friend who is interested in Silverpoint. She would like to talk/write to someone who has done it before, to ask a few questions before she jumps in.

If you have the time and desire to communicate with her, please write me off-list.
It would be greatly appreciated.

Best,
Linda
