It's coming BACK that is the great unknown. I think we can do this one more thing to ensure a safe return.

I think it would be helpful if when we crate up our paintings to send to an exhibition, if we attached inside the lid or the foam where someone could see it, a photograph of how the box interior was originally packed and padded, especially if there are two paintings inside one box. That way, who ever re-packs the box will understand how everything fits together safely, and won't have to guess and modify the packaging. 

I know some galleries and museums already do this for themselves when they unpack, but we never know who does and who doesn't.
