Oracle has released Java 1.7.0_45, which fixes over 50 critical security vulnerabilities.  This release is available for Windows, Solaris, Mac, and Linux systems, and is available for both servers and workstations.  Apple has also released an update to Java 1.6.0 on Mac as version 1.6.0_65.  Please note that the Apple Java update removes the browser plug-in from all installed browsers.  If you are using Java on a Mac, you should get Java from Oracle instead as Apple is slowly moving away from supporting Java for Macs.
