True enough. Not fair, necessarily, but inevitable. I've just never been spammed from the CalonList. Can't say the same from the Facebook Friends List. Okay, closing up the can of worms now.

They were most likely posted to FB almost immediately from various individuals in various places. Just as people were texting and calling variously to distribute the news. I think the issue here is that there is no requirement (only some folks’ expectations) that current events, announcements and other news be posted to an email list. It certainly is not a reliable source of information. Furthermore, as usage of social media progresses, I expect the email list to become increasingly outdated and used less – the world is moving on. And it is far easier to participate vicariously through others on FB, after all… ;]
True, they were posted to the Calon List yesterday. When were they posted on Facebook? Yes, I know, I'm being a pain. I'm such a Ludditte.
To be fair, Crown results, as well as the Court report, *were* posted to the Calon-list. Yesterday. By THL Catrijin.

Amen to Etiennette, I meant. Call it a can of worms if you wish. I don't have any quarrel with anyone having fun at post revel. I don't have any quarrel with anyone posting whatever on Facebook. But for those of us who have had our emails spammed from Facebook, or for those who just don't use it, it would be nice if people would remember to at least post who won on the Calon List.
I certainly hope folks will remember the rest of us on the Calonlist and share here too. Not everyone is on facebook and this IS afterall the Calontir forum.

Most of the excitement, pics and traffic surrounding Crown has occurred on Facebook.
