Lawrence Mishel of the Economic Policy Institute (EPI) and Lawrence Katz of Harvard University have initiated this letter, endorsing the economic benefits of raising the minimum wage to $10.10. EPI and CEPR are circulating the statement among economists. So far, the signatories of the letter include seven Nobel Laureates and eight former presidents of the American Economic Association.
