To all those offering advice to capture a rogue gecko that fled into my friends car... Success!. They never located it, too many tiny cracks to hide in. They left the doors open in the daytime, and hoped it crawled out on it's own. This morning it was found on the back seat of the car. They gently picked it up and tried to find some bugs for it. They are planning to release it near a pile of stones and wood debris in a sunny spot, so when it warms up today it may become active enough to hunt.

So happy ending! and thanks for all the advice.
Linda
