Subject: Scanner for 3 X 5 notecards

Apologies for cross-posting:

We are currently looking for a scanner to scan thousands of 3 X 5 cards from our entomology library so we can database our systematics reprint collection. Most searches or discussions I have read recommend the "Fujitsu ScanSnap iX500 Scanner for PC and Mac " (http://www.amazon.com/Fujitsu-ScanSnap-iX500-Scanner-PA03656-B005/dp/B00ATZ9QMO/ref=dp_ob_title_ce).<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v1/url?u=http://www.amazon.com/Fujitsu-ScanSnap-iX500-Scanner-PA03656-B005/dp/B00ATZ9QMO/ref%3Ddp_ob_title_ce%29.&k=diZKtJPqj4jWksRIF4bjkw%3D%3D%0A&r=iTSyJQo%2F%2FdqxUBm7dagtxw%3D%3D%0A&m=Wyh1Db1e9pufek8JNwD%2BYZeKUPQux%2B7E%2FLcuK62bYiI%3D%0A&s=f8ccfd9443567aeb46a7485e663df09dc06ace53edf10515a357c16dfea15825>
Has anybody had experience scanning 3 X 5 cards with this machine, or maybe recommend another company/model?

Cheers,
Gene
