We have three Epson Work Force B11B194011 Pro GT-S50 that we use for this and they work great for 3X5 cards at $250 ea.  We got them via Amazon.

Subject: Scanner for 3 X 5 notecards

Apologies for cross-posting:

We are currently looking for a scanner to scan thousands of 3 X 5 cards from our entomology library so we can database our systematics reprint collection. Most searches or discussions I have read recommend the "Fujitsu ScanSnap iX500 Scanner for PC and Mac " (http://www.amazon.com/Fujitsu-ScanSnap-iX500-Scanner-PA03656-B005/dp/B00ATZ9QMO/ref=dp_ob_title_ce).

Has anybody had experience scanning 3 X 5 cards with this machine, or maybe recommend another company/model?
