I'm signed up to teach a youth hand sewing class. Last year I taught youth Middle Eastern dance. I found that 20 minutes was about all that their collective attention spans lasted, so teaching for youth doesn't have to be a huge investment of time. Also, if you wish to teach youth classes, you don't need to be background checked (though its always nice to have as many as possible) so long as there is someone there with a background check. So there goes that excuse. *wink*

How about paper marbling (1-hr.)? I did that with Ly Apple two years ago. It was messy and fun! Now, I would also do beginning recorder class, ages 8-12. I would need to know how many plastic recorders to bring. I think a limit to 10 would be good. Maybe 3 times during the week for a class? For one hr. at a time. Beginning embroidery, also for older kids. 1 hour. Would that help? I need to be at music classes, so scheduling may be tricky. 10:00 or 3:00 p.m. are hours that are usually safe, but I don't know when we are doing Ball Music practice. Noontime is right out, because of noontime singing. This year, I am not in charge of 3 balls, so let me know if I can help. Maybe if you have a sketchy schedule, I could fill in with a couple activities!
By the way, in mundane life, I am a public library director. I have alot of kids' activities in my hat, but have not done the thing with the background check for the SCA. I think there would be plenty of time for me to do it, though.

Greetings! We are again hosting Warrior Child in May. Warrior Child's theme is children, and prizes for 4 of the tourneys include donations to the winner's favorite Children's charities. I am in charge of sponsoring an A&S competition and would like it to be child-themed as well.Is there something I can have entrants make, then donate, that would help you and the Lilies youth?-------------
