That's a very good question. I would think that because it's narrow enough
with no protrusions, that it should be ok.

Mine is 1/4" of 3 metals braided together. I bought it from Duke Inman a
gazillion years ago at Estrella war. I figure since a Duke sold it to me,
it was ok to wear it.
