That's a very good question. I would think that because it's narrow enough with no protrusions, that it should be ok.

Mine is 1/4" of 3 metals braided together. I bought it from Duke Inman a gazillion years ago at Estrella war. I figure since a Duke sold it to me, it was ok to wear it.

Does "unornamented" mean it cannot be stamped either? I have a silver circlet stamped with Anglo-Saxon motifs that can only be seen if you look closely. It is less than a 1/2 inch in width. Would something like that be permissible? I do not want to wear it if it is not.
