JOIE Again Increases its Citation Impact Factor
The Journal of Institutional Economics (JOIE) was added to the Thomson-Reuters citation listings in 2011. The recently-announced 2013 impact factor is based on citations in 2013 throughout the social sciences to articles published in this journal in 2011 and 2012. The impact factors for 2011 and 2012 were calculated similarly, each on citations to articles in JOIE in the preceding two years. The latest citation impact factor of 0.672 for the Journal of Institutional Economics is significantly higher than many well-established and journals in similar or related fields.
