Hi Karen et al,

The Journal reviewed it a couple of issues back, I donít immediately recall which issue, it was this year I think. The Neo Lucida got a pretty bad review.

Iím pretty sure that the old fashioned original Lucidas were also quite difficult to use, needing a lot of practice, so I am not sure much has changed. But this is a pretty old vague memory.

I am pretty sure that the review mentions an iPhone ap that more or less works the same and does a better job.

Karen, there's a review of the NeoLucida at the GNSI website: http://www.gnsi.org/resources/reviews/rip-camera-lucida

I have one but have only attempted to use it once so far. I can tell you that it doesn't work well using it attached to a sketchbook in one's lap; it really needs to be still.

There was some conversation on this listserv a while back about the NeoLucida. I was wondering if anyone here has gotten one, and if so, what you think of it. Thanks!

Karen
