My 2011 iMac - 2011 and 2011 Mac Book Pro seem to be doing well.

No issues at this time with just the standard update. Did not erase the old system.

Hope this helps!

Best,

“OC” Carlisle

So a clean sweep start seemed to help. My husband thinks it's fast enough, as he graduated from his older and less mighty laptop to the iMac, so it might just be relative.

I'm slowly getting used to the different font; a few things have a different appearance. I notice more difference in third-party apps and how they behave, but still just differences and not major issues.

About twice as many one-stars as 5 stars, and not much in between. Have any of you upgraded? I have two MacBook Pros, the old one running Snow Leopard and the new one running Mavericks. I don’t use the old one much, but sometimes need to go to it when I need to use a DVD or a CD, or to scan text.
