The ECN meeting will be taking place Saturday, November 14 and Sunday, November 15 in Minneapolis, MN. The meeting and banquet will be at the
Hyatt Regency, so please plan accordingly. For more information, please check the new ECN Website periodically.
If anyone would like to give a talk at the meeting this year, please email us a brief abstract and title by September 30, 2015. Talks should be prepared using MSPowerPoint, or the like, and are to be no more than 20 minutes in length, including time for questions. For past examples of programs and talks, you can consult the website.
If you are interested in participating with the following topic symposia, please contact the following organizers: long term preservation of genitalia dissections; transportation and disposal of hazardous liquids in insect collecting and preservation; collections data usage and research; and novel collecting techniques.
New this year POSTERS! The ECN will be hosting a poster session on Saturday, November 14th through the evening of the banquet, with presenters tentatively scheduled to be available for questions during the mixer. If you are interested in presenting a poster rather than a talk, please email us as well.
Also, if you have an idea for a symposium, please feel free to send us your ideas. If you definitely want to see a symposium in this year's program, then it would be guaranteed to happen if you step forward and agree to help organize it and help contact appropriate potential speakers.
