Mark,

Thank you for the update, good to know.

FYI, we also have Tinkham specimens here at the UAIC since he was coauthor of "The Grasshoppers and Other Orthoptera of Arizona" in 1942.

Cheers,

I have had communication with the California Academy of Sciences, and that's where the Tinkham collection ended up.

Thanks, everyone.  We have a great community here!

I am very curious to know where Tinkham's collection ended up after his death due to his former association with the UA collection. I vaguely remember at one point his collection was kept at his residence, maybe in his garage, and sustained some serious dermestid damage. I might have a copy of a letter from him stating the condition of his personal collection and will try to dig it up.

Cheers,

One more question about loans from the Pleistocene.  I have a box of katydids borrowed long ago by Ted Cohn that were to be returned to Tinkham.  Where did Tinkham's collections go after his death?

Many thanks in advance.
