Here is another phishing email that has been received on campus. It has the same signs as many other phish emails:
· not from a valid ITS employee
· the link does not go to a secured, valid UNL web site
· grammatical errors
· a sense of urgency to take action right away
If you receive an email that you are not sure is a legitimate email, contact the ITS Help Center desk or the security team BEFORE clicking on a link. The site from these links has been blocked from being accessed on the UNL network. However, if you try it from off campus, the link might work. If you clicked on either of the links and tried to login with your UNL credentials, change your password immediately and contact the ITS Help Center at 402-472-3970.
