FYI, I'm getting filmed later this week - for a piece about Chesley Bonestell, considered the Father of Space Art. Seems I am the only person (so far, anyway) who was able to dig up images from an exhibit of Bonestell's paintings that the CA Academy of Sciences had in 1988. I took those for portfolio purposes. For that show I painted the mural "backdrop" in the exhibit hall - on PLUM purple walls, no less! I added a starfield and a "frieze" of celestial objects near the ceiling. So I've been asked to talk about that, and how Bonestell influenced my work. Hmmmm. . . so now I have to remember exactly what was in my head nearly 30 years ago when I was driving the scissor lift back and forth and spatter painting stars with a scrub brush. (Does my memory go back that far???)

The film maker says he's keen on including me since I am a woman and the other artists he's filming are men. I'm doing this for Womankind. . . . We ROCK!!!
