The Lyrica Society for Word-Music Relations is pleased to announce its 10th
annual Lyrica Dialogues at Harvard, this year commemorating the fifth
anniversary of the passing of the University's beloved Pastor Peter J.
Gomes.  The day-long conference will be held in the Thompson Room of the
Barker Center, 12 Quincy Street, and the focus is African-American opera,
art song and choral repertory.  The Keynote Address will be delivered by
Professor George Shirley and an evening concert will feature representative
literature performed by the distinguished performers Zuly Inirio (soprano),
Eleni Matos (mezzo-soprano), Stanley Jackson (tenor) and Brian Moll
(pianist).  Admission is free and open to the public.
