The Aaron Copland School of Music at Queens College in the City University
of New York invites applications for a tenure-track position as Assistant
Professor of Musicology, appointment to begin in August 2017. The school
seeks an innovative scholar of Western art music, with a demonstrated
record of publication and teaching experience.

The School of Music at Queens College serves a vibrant and diverse student
body of over 400 students.

A Ph.D. degree in area(s) of experience or equivalent is required. While
advanced standing ABD candidates may be considered, the completed degree
must be in hand before the position can begin. Also required are the
ability to teach successfully, as well as a demonstrated scholarship or
achievement.
