*CONFERENCE: MUSIC AND THE JEWISH WORLD:* *EXPRESSION ACROSS REAL AND IMAGINARY BOUNDARIES* *FEBRUARY 18–19, 2017, AT THE UNIVERSITY OF TORONTO* The conference *Music and the Jewish World: Expression across Real and Imaginary *is hosted by the Anne Tanenbaum Centre for Jewish Studies and the Faculty of Music at the University of Toronto, and is supported by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada. In bringing together scholars from diverse fields this conference will illuminate different aspects of the interplay between music and the Jewish world in the past and today. The work will be performed by Christine Wilkie Bohlman (University of Chicago), and Philip V.
