Registration and the programme for the international interdisciplinary
conference Beyond Genius and Muse: Collaborating Couples in Twentieth
Century Arts are now available. The conference takes place in the Victoria
Rooms, University of Bristol, on 18 and 19 April 2017.


Registration to the two-day event costs £30 (including daytime catering and
free entry to the exhibitions at the Royal West of England Academy) and can

The keynote lecture on 18 April will be given by Prof. Frances Spalding,
who will speak on Virginia Woolf, Roger Fry, and collaboration within the
Bloomsbury Group.


In the keynote dialogue on 19 April, Dame Jane Manning and Anthony Payne
will discuss their collaboration and distinguished work in music.
