I agree, I have older CS versions on the same computer. The issue you run into with the Cloud is new Cloud versions overwrite old Cloud version by default! So you have to look closely and click an extra button if you want it to leave old Cloud versions alone.

I don't think the cloud erases non-cloud versions of Adobe software. BUT I simply put my CS6 versions in a folder titled "old Adobe software" within the apps folder. However it should be noted I'm running OS 10.10.

The Adobe CC install will not overwrite or erase your copy of CS5. They can co-exist happily on your HD.
