Today is Humanities Advocacy Day! A record-breaking number of humanities
advocates are braving the wintry conditions in Washington D.C. to meet with
hundreds of Members of Congress to make the case for federal funding for
the humanities.

Advocates are making clear to Congress that we oppose all efforts to
eliminate funding for the National Endowment for the Humanities

.

You can join the effort by calling your Members of Congress

today.
Calls from constituents will bolster the message of those on the Hill.

to
be patched through to your Senators’ and Representative’s offices. The
system will not start making calls until you are ready, and it will provide
a script if you would like one.
Please spread the word on social media at #HAD17.
