Dear ECN members,

the annual meeting of the Willi Hennig Society (WHS, http://www.cladistics.org) will take place in St. Petersburg, FL from August 25th to 30th. The meeting web-site provides information on the venue, symposia, and registration at https://cladistics.org/xxxvi-annual-meeting-2017/ .

The WHS supports the attendance of undergraduate and graduate students and postdocs (graduation in 2016 or 2017) who present an oral or poster presentation through the Marie Stopes Travel Award with $600. For students or postdocs traveling form outside North America $1,200 will be awarded. Applications are open until June 1st.

Marc Branham and myself are organizing an insect symposium entitled, “Insect morphology and phylogeny: diverse data to answer new questions”.
