Dave,
I was knocked off the housing web site at 11:30 AM and got the same "Registration already used" response. I could not even get into the telephone queue so I went to lunch. When I returned I still no confirmation so I called, got into the queue, waited and when the person looked up my registration ID he said I had a reservation and emailed me the confirmation. He seemed surprised that I had not received the email.

I had the same experience. After finally getting through to a person on the telephone (855-347-1779 ) I learned that my reservation had gone through and the confirmation notice was then forwarded to me. After I got into the telephone queue I waited about 15 minutes on hold.

Dear AFEE colleagues,
Is anyone else is having problems with the ASSA hotel reservation site? I got to the "payment page" to make my reservation (a room was available) and got bounced out of the queue. Now when I try to re-book, I cannot because I'm told that my registration code has already been used to make a reservation (and I don't have one!). I cannot seem to find anyplace to clear the submitted information and start over. Any feedback is welcome!
