Heidelberg University invites applications for two tenured positions. Both are expected to
start with winter-term 2019.
Professorship (W 3) in Musicology (in succession to Prof. Dr. Inga Mai Groote)
The successful candidate will be able to cover the entire field of Musicology both in research
and teaching. He or she is expected to have a focus in the History of Music before 1800.
Professorship (W 3) in Musicology (in succession to Prof. Dr. Dorothea Redepenning)
This position is a former C 3-professorship. The successful candidate will be able to cover the
entire field of Musicology both in research and teaching. He or she is expected to have a focus
in the History of Music after 1800.

paragraph 2 of the Higher Education Law of the State of Baden-Wurttemberg) a Habilitation,
a successfully evaluated junior professorship or equivalent qualification. The University of
