The conference Public Music Discourse: In Honor of the Bernstein Centenary will take place in Columbia, SC, March 2 and 3, meeting jointly with AMS-SE and MTSE. Participants will also get the opportunity to hear the South Carolina premiere of Leonard Bernstein’s MASS. 

The keynote speaker will be Tim Page from the University of Southern California. His talk, “Writing about Music in the Twenty-first Century,” will be on Saturday afternoon from 4 to 5 pm.
