Thanks, Geoff.  I turned off the spyware (bloatware?) when I first loaded Win 10.  Cortana was the first to go.....I asked her if she was Italian and she didn't answer.  The nerve.  :)

You need to create a restore point first. I didn’t following one guy on YouTube and my restart doesn’t work properly now but I’m happy about everything else I turned off. I’ve managed a work around for restart too.
