Yes, I would hesitate to put yet another piece of digital programming between two different OS systems.  My CS6 was downloaded, and it's a PC.  Guess I'm stuck here.

There are methods for getting it on non-mac hardware (hackintosh) but it's very unreliable, especially for a work computer. If you have Adobe CC, then you just download the mac version. I just spent the whole morning fixing two very annoying problems on the latest version of Win 10....the first being the start menu wouldn't show, if you can believe that.
