Dear colleagues,
The editorial board of the journal "Caucasian Entomological Bulletin" invites you to publish your research in our planned special issue (Vol. 14, Supplement 1, 2018) under the theme "Insects of the Mediterranean region: old questions, new research trends".
The deadline for submitting the manuscripts is October 1, 2018. The size of manuscripts is unlimited.
As long as your entomological paper somehow targets Mediterranean region, the following topics are welcome:
- morphology, taxonomy and systematics
- evolution and phylogeny
- bio- and phylogeography
- ecology and morpho-ecological adaptations
- fossil insects and paleogeographical reconstructions
- new faunistic data
"Caucasian Entomological Bulletin" is an open access journal under Creative Common licence CC BY-NC (freely available on the public internet, permitting any users to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of these articles, crawl them for indexing, pass them as data to software, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without financial, legal, or technical barriers other than those inseparable from gaining access to the internet itself).
The journal is published by the Southern Scientific Centre of the Russian Academy of Science (Rostov-on-Don, Russia) since 2005 and is indexed/referenced in eLibrary.ru, Thomson Reuters: Zoological Records, BIOSIS Previews, Russian Science Citation Index, ZooBank, Crossref.
A PDF and one print copy of this special issue will be sent to each author.
Colour figures are free for print version.
