Sounds great. I wish I could come. Will it be recorded, or webcast?
I am sure the program would be interesting to an audience far beyond the lecture theatre.

The Museum’s mission is to be a catalyst and ignite the community’s passion for nature and science.
We are hosting our small congress on Collecting and Collections in the Anthropocene in Neil Chalmers Theatre on Monday 23rd and Tuesday 24th July. Talks will run each day from 11.00 to 4.20 and we have 20 speakers from 11 institutes, including some well-known figures from both inside and outside the museum, talking about all aspects of collections, collecting, and their relevance in the modern era.
I will try to keep everything to time so that people can come to specific talks that are of interest, or alternatively some may choose to attend the whole event.
There will be some short Collections Tours after the event each day, and on the Monday we aim to follow the congress with brief snacks up in the DC2 Common Room, which I would ask for a small contribution towards from those attending.
There is no conference registration fee. Because it starts at 11.00 you can simply come to the public gallery in the usual way, and come to the Neil Chalmers theatre in the new Darwin Centre Phase 2. I would look forward to seeing some familiar faces there.
Please see attachments for running order and lists of speakers
Many thanks and best wishes
