Assistant Professor, Ethnomusicology Washington University in St. Louis announces a tenure-track position in ethnomusicology to begin in Fall semester 2019. Consideration will be given to all subfields. §
Qualifications: Candidates should have a Ph.D. in ethnomusicology (ABD applicants must complete the Ph.D. before taking up the position). Candidates should demonstrate significant
post-doctoral teaching experience, a promising record of publications, and demonstrated excellence in teaching.§
Duties: Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in areas of expertise; pursue research and publication; supervise independent projects, theses, and dissertations; and participate
on department and university committees.§
