The ITS Cybersecurity team is investigating widespread phishing occurring at the UNL campus. The attack started on Wednesday, September 11 and continues through this afternoon. The phish email has tricked many users into clicking on the link provided and trying to login. If you receive an email like the one below - DO NOT CLICK ON THE LINK AND LOGIN. Verify with the sender via a phone call that it is a real email. If you did receive this email (or one like it), clicked on the link and tried to login, change your MyUNL password immediately and contact the ITS Help Desk so they can help you check to make sure the hacker has been logged out of your account, and that there are no lingering forwarding or other rules setup in your email account. If you used that same password on your TrueYou account - change your password on that account as well (or any other account with that same password, regardless if it is UNL related.)
