The *Schulich School of Music of McGill University* is Canada’s leading university-based program for the training of professional performers and composers, and for humanities-based and scientific research in music and sound. We invite applications for a tenure-track position in Historical Performance Practice and Musicology, held jointly in the Departments of Performance and Music Research at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, for an initial 3-year appointment beginning *August 1, 2019.* *QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:* Completed doctorate preferred; ABD with expected 2020 completion will be considered. Candidates should demonstrate an active profile as both a performer and a researcher, and have significant instrumental teaching experience. Baroque violin performance specialization and 17th/18th- century research focus preferred.
