Annual Reviews (where I work) now has a brand new online science magazine called Knowable. It’s pretty snazzy—all of the latest topics in research, distilled down into terms we can understand! I wish it had more science illustrations, but they are probably leaning toward editorial and photographic images due to their fast-paced production cycle.

Their subscription is currently free while they are getting established.

I know what you mean, Linda.  I bought the Atlantic online edition so I could browse same on my Chromebook.  Unfortunately, it's difficult to scroll down and back up for the next column and I seldom finish an issue before the next arrives.  I may buy the magazine next year, as I can carry it just as easily as a laptop :).

Thanks to everyone for the suggestions....I'll peruse each.  Also haven't seen the verb "to trump" anywhere yet, which is ever such a relief.

Hi Bruce: I've been enjoying  Science Magazine (AAAS publication)..  It has an online version, and has a very broad scope of subject matter.   I am going to get the hard copy next year, rather than the online version, I just like the hard copies.

Cheers,
Linda

Hi, can anyone recommend an online science journal?  One that deals with various aspects of scientific investigation, from physics to botany?  Maybe there are none that broad, but at least paleontology, zoology, botany, astronomy.  Oh, and in no way ever mentions the word "trump."

Thanks,

bab
