Fly School is an intensive two week course (23 June – 6 July 2019) for those interested in dipterology. The course will focus on lecture and laboratory time devoted to identification of the families of Diptera supplemented with time in the field and special sessions. The course is aimed at students and early career professionals, but is open to anyone who wants to gain a more comprehensive understanding of this order of insects.


The international team of instructors and guests include Dr. Dalton de Souza Amorim, Dr. Brian Brown, Dr. Eliana Buenaventura, Dr. David Grimaldi, Dr. Jim Hogue, Dr. Brian Wiegmann, Dr. Erica McAlister, and Dr. Michelle Trautwein.
