[log in to unmask]">Hi Linda,
After the MacOS stopped supporting my ancient Apple Laserwriter 4/600PS (which still works perfectly after more than 20 years), I tried a couple of different HP's and hated them. I had frequent paper jams and constant communication problems. Print jobs would just disappear into the ether. I had to frequently reboot the printers to get them to work.
After giving up on HP, I bought a Samsung a few years ago and I've been very happy with it. The model is ML-2851ND, although I doubt that specific model is still available. It's a basic 8.5x11" black and white laser printer with duplexing capability. The N in the model name means it is network capable (via an Ethernet connection). Because it's a few years old, it didn't have a wireless option. I suspect some of their newer models do.
Although it's a few years old, it works fine with my iMac running OS 10.13 (High Sierra).
Jim
