The Brazilian Ethnomusicology and Musicology Symposium is now accepting
applications for participants. Held from Oct. 4-13 in São Paulo and
Campinas, Brazil, the program will culminate in a two-day experience with
the Kariri-Xocó tribe. In addition, participants will:

Learn, study, and experience a wide range of musics: Indigenous,
Afro-Brazilian, classical, and popular.

Encounter Brazilian music first hand in São Paulo and Campinas.

Research and perform fieldwork under the guidance of national and
international specialists of Brazilian music.

Network and interact with Brazilian and international scholars, musicians,
artists.
